This Privacy Policy explains how Smart Start Elementary LLC ("PeasyTeach," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the PeasyTeach website and application (the "Service"). PeasyTeach is built for teachers and parents — children do not create accounts or interact with the Service directly, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. See Section 7 for more on this.
When you create an account, we collect your email address, first and last name, and role (teacher, parent, or other), along with a password managed securely by our authentication provider, Supabase.
If you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor, Stripe, collects and stores your payment details directly. We never see or store your full card number — we retain only your subscription status, plan tier, and Stripe's internal customer/subscription identifiers so we can manage your account.
We keep a record of the materials you generate through PeasyTeach (tool used, grade level, standard, theme, and the content itself), along with how many generations you've used in your current billing period. Subscribers on our Plus and Unlimited plans can browse and reopen this history through My Library; other plans may not have in-app access to that history, but we may still retain the underlying records to operate and improve the Service.
Like most web applications, our infrastructure providers automatically log standard technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps) for security and reliability purposes.
When you request a worksheet, quiz, flashcard set, anchor chart, or lesson plan, we send the relevant details of your request (grade, standard, theme, difficulty, and similar options you've selected) to Anthropic's Claude API to generate the content. We don't send your name, email, or account information as part of that request. Anthropic processes this data under its own privacy and data-handling terms; we encourage you to avoid entering sensitive personal information (such as a specific child's name) into optional fields like theme text.
We rely on the following providers to operate PeasyTeach. Each only receives the information it needs to perform its function:
| Provider | What it does |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Authentication, account data, and database hosting |
| Anthropic | Generates worksheet/quiz/lesson content from your requests |
| Stripe | Processes payments and manages subscriptions |
| Cloudflare | Hosts the website and application, and serves requests |
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
PeasyTeach uses browser storage to keep you signed in between visits (via a session token managed by Supabase) and to remember basic preferences. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
PeasyTeach is designed for use by adults — teachers and parents creating materials for children, not by children themselves. Children do not create PeasyTeach accounts, log in, or submit information to us directly, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at the email below and we'll remove it.
We retain your account information and generated content for as long as your account is active, and as needed to comply with our legal and business obligations. To request that we delete your account and associated data, email us at missjenna@smartstartelementary.com — we don't currently offer self-serve account deletion in the app, so we'll process deletion requests manually and confirm once it's done.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information, including relying on established providers (Supabase, Stripe, Cloudflare) that maintain their own security standards. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
You can review and update your account information anytime from your Account settings page, including changing your email or password, and managing or cancelling your subscription. For anything not available there — including data deletion requests — contact us directly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll post the updated policy here with a new "Last updated" date, and where appropriate, notify you by email or in-app notice.
